PSA impact

1. It is a non-profit council that produces and promotes ideas and productions of non-profit organizations and government agencies on issues like health, quality of life and education.

2. They support GED achievements, reading, financial literacy, autism awareness and more.

3. The PSA is able to spread their message and let people know what they can do or be aware of a cause so they can take action to prepare for t. For example, Tennessee native Evonne Richards was able to survive a tornado because of PSA. Another example is the veterans of Iraq and Afghanistnd being able to communicate with each other through PSA.

4.I think if PSA tackles issues in my community, they can make people aware and make them take action in issues like education and drug abuse.

5. Technology can be used to spread ideas to anywhere in the world to effect social change. Any news from anywhere in the world can be uploaded within a matter of seconds.

Magazine Awareness

1. Teens want to be like the teens represented in the magazines. They build their lives around.
2.Teens are taking away from magazines fashion and social advises. They learn to deal with their social situations using the advice.
3. It takes away their personal values and makes them think exactly what the magazine wants them to think.
4. Teens are going to the internet to read more about the magazines. Magazine companies are using this to build teen loyalty. They put topics, polls, discussions, giveaways and promotions online for their viewers to see.
5. The format is promoting the product making teens think that they need the product.
6. a shoe worn by a famous artist.
7. If you are looking up to a certain celebrity and you see that they are wearing something, you are gonna want to wear it.
8.Image manipulation is harmful because it is not the persons natural look.
9. Magazines that run these doctored shots believe it gives them an air of exclusively or originality, but sometimes they are shown as the fakes they are and even the celebration seem to be fighting back because it is not their real feature.
10. I think young people should be aware that the media and magazines use manipulation methods to make money so people should not base their believes off of them.

Magazine Evaluation

Our magazine has a cover with tittles in the front and an advertisement in the back with a spread in the middle. This is how many professional magazines are like. Our magazine is like our peers in the way that our ads were made by us instead of made by the companies to be put in our magazine. Our magazine is attractive to our consumer because it has a captivating cover and a game as an ad which people want. an attention grabbing technique we used was making out cover really colorful stand out from others. An advertising technique we used was making the picture of the guy in the ad pop out and making he colors blend. I think these techniques were effective because they capture people's attention.

investigation

We will use the research to create a successful project by incorporating the information we have learned into making the magazine. I learned from my research what kind of things are usually in sports magazines. I learned the type of stories to talk about and the type of ads found in sports magazines. My teammates each put ideas together and put information into outlining the magazine. It was effective because we were able to decide what we are going to write about and the type of ads we would show in our magazine.

Methods of persuasion

Appearance ans sexuality is the most effective method of persuasion because teens follow trends their favorite celeberties are following, so when they see commercials with them in it, they will follow it. They want to look like them.

Indirect persuasion is the least effective for teens because teens don't really care about the hidden idea being sold by the advertisement. They only want the item being advertised upfront.

Behavioral Ads

The article is about Google beginning behavioral targeting ad program. People's surfing information will be collected and used for advertising. This will happen by using cookies. Google had agreed to have opt-in cookies. If people delete all their cookies, new ones will appear and the opt-in's can be deleted. What people can do is use opt-in's and say what kind of advertisements they want.

Media Literacy

It is important for teens to be media literate because they need to understand what the media is trying to say. They have to be able to understand the information being said and not be fooled by what they see at first glance.
